South-Western end of Southern Lane.

Thought to connect Southern Lane to the chancel in the Holy Trinity Church. See Mary Birch’s article: Our Warwickshire
There is no evidence at the church end of any route down into the ground so frankly, given the distance, I think it highly unlikely. My conjecture is that it may have been to connect the Flower’s Avon House with the property across the road privately.
