The Country Artists Fountain

This celebrates 800 years since the granting of the Market Rights to Stratford by Richard I (the Lionheart) in 1196.

Created by Christine Lee it is made of stainless steel and brass.

It was unveiled by Queen Elizabeth II, obviously, in 1996. It is frequently used as a meeting point not least by the daily Stratford Town Walk (see below)
