History
It’s true to say that we’ve forgotten just how successful an entire wing of Stratford’s history, which is now hardly evidenced, once was. See also Lucy’s Mill.

The strength of all track had to accommodate the largest locomotives which were used to pull the largest coal trains in the country.
LMS were leading the way with containerisation 1932
